Description
Duties:- This role concentrates on three key areas: financial planning and budgeting, balanced scorecard (KPI) development, and performance tracking.
- Serve as a reliable finance partner and advisor to designated business units, delivering regular financial analysis and monitoring budgets, while providing insights on key trends and emerging issues.
- Assist in developing KPI frameworks to support the Bank's strategic priorities and business objectives.
- Establish and recommend best practices for revenue recognition across products and business segments.
- Contribute to financial system enhancement initiatives, utilising data analytics tools to improve reporting accuracy and drive automation.
- Ensure management information is accurate and up to date, and implement appropriate controls to safeguard data integrity.
- Support ad hoc tasks and projects assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years' relevant experience in the banking or financial services sector.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, CIMA, CFA, CFP, or AHKIB are advantageous.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with the capability to interpret financial and management data with solid business insight.
- Proactive in challenging existing processes and driving simplification and automation initiatives.
- Self-driven, innovative, and able to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in report writing in both English and Chinese, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Fluent in spoken English and Chinese; Putonghua proficiency is an added advantage.
