Description
Position SummaryLondon Stock Exchange Group's Business Services arm supports multiple legal entities located globally enabling you to practice your financial knowledge
and skills in a professional setting. The Executive, Financial Reporting and Control will be assigned to a team lead, where they will assist to prepare,
develop, and analyse financial information, enabling the senior management to make well-informed decisions, leading to future stability, growth, and
profitability. He/she holder will have the opportunity to understands the overall business model of the company focusing on core accounting skills with an
understanding of the controls environment within which the business operates & will have an opportunity to work with different business divisions. You will
appreciate the very well-structured operating processes and the hands-on application of finance principles in a fast-paced work environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Extracting Data from Blackline system for analysis & reporting.
- Preparing graphs and presentations on reconciliations.
- Following up on balance sheet reconciliation and validation completion.
- Support the control environment in implementation balance sheet controls & alignment of processes.
- Ensures adherence to group reporting and regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively in identification and support of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure high level of accuracy of the data, reporting and numbers providing to Management
- Adherence to the Sox controls
- Pursuing or final level of a Finance degree/professional qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
- Good knowledge on accounting concepts and principles.
- Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages,
- Prior experience within the Blackline system is a mandatory requirement
- Ability to build strong working relationships with global colleagues.
- Willingness to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective oral and written communication that resonates with the target audience.
- Take on responsibility and sense of teamwork.
- Attention to detail and accuracy oriented.
- Ability to work according to UK work hours.
- Planning and prioritising according to business needs
