A highly successful Wealth Management firm, running Wealth Planning / Financial Planning for HNW clients.

The Role:

The Head of Finance / Finance Director will lead a Finance team within this Wealth Planning firm and will oversee all Finance operations of the business, ensuring robust financial planning, strategy, and compliance.

This role requires Senior Finance experience with strong expertise in Wealth Management business - specifically financial planning and wealth management principles, combined with proven leadership and team management experience.

The successful candidate will drive financial performance, contribute to strategic business decisions, and lead a high-performing finance team.

The Head of Finance / Finance Director will lead the development and execution of the organisation's financial strategy aligned with business goals for the Wealth Management firm.

The Head of Finance / Finance Director will oversee long-term financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis. Provide insights to the Head of the Wealth Planning business on financial implications of strategic business decisions.

The Head of Finance / Finance Director will oversee financial planning functions, including cash flow modelling, retirement planning, investment strategy review, and client wealth planning (if applicable to business scope).

The Candidate

Senior Finance experience - Finance leadership within a Wealth Planning or Financial Planning business.

Team management experience - essential.

Ideally a fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) or equivalent professional qualification.

Proven experience in a senior finance role with responsibility for planning and strategy.

Demonstrable experience in financial or wealth planning functions.

Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and scenario planning.

Experience in developing and implementing financial policies, controls, and governance.
