Job title: Financial Controller

Salary: £80,000 - £90,000

Offices: Central London (office based role)

The company:

A chance to join an established Construction company based in Central London that specialises in high-end refurbishment projects and developments. They work on moderate volume but high-value projects across the UK and are seeking a Financial Controller to join the team to manage the finance function and eventually progress into an FD position.

The role:

• Financial reporting and management accounts review
• Budgeting / forecasting
• Implementing financial controls and processes
• Implementing new processes and getting involved in automating / updating processes to enhance the teams work
• Managing a finance team of non-qualified team members (people management is key)

Progression / Development opportunities:

• Scope to move into an FD position
• Liaising with the board level members
• Opportunity to support with strategy and decision making

To be a successful candidate:

• Ideally a qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA Financial Controller / Finance Manager (qualified by experience may be considered)
• Ideally have experience within the Construction industry
• Team management / inter-personal skills
• Experience in establishing a finance function / team is desirable
